Programme Structure

DLGS offers an interdisciplinary three-year structured doctoral programme. It aims to equip candidates with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully defend their doctoral dissertation, that can be written as a monograph or cumulative work.

The curriculum consists of formats both compulsory and elective that cover core, subject-specific, methodological, and skill development courses. Support is also provided for candidates to build their scientific network through participation in national and international conferences and workshops.

Scientific guidance and support are provided through meetings of the Supervisory Board, where individual work status is discussed, and tailored guidance is given to ensure efficient progress.
