DLGS Autumn School Sep 22nd, 2021- Call for Abstracts

Submissions deadline: March 15th, 2021

DLGS would like to invite doctoral candidates working on the topics related to space and transformation to participate in the Autumn School on September 22nd, 2021. This year it is organised as a preceding event to the IOER Annual Conference 2021. The purpose of the Autumn School is to provide a platform for doctoral candidates to present their on-going research projects, and socialise with peers and other senior researchers. Your contribution should be related to one of the following themes:

  • Human-nature-connection in urban and suburban areas

  • Transformative capacity, transition governance and spatial planning

  • Metabolisms and circularity in cities and regions

  • Spatial visualization and modelling of transformations

  • Open track (for contributions that fit the conference theme but cannot be assigned to one of the four specific tracks)

For your submissions you can use the conference website. Make sure (you will be asked at the end) to indicate that your submission is for the Autumn School. Further information on submissions: http://jahrestagung.ioer.info/en/submission-of-contributions/

Various formats are planned, including with Julia Leventon (CzechGlobe), James Evans (Manchester University) and Marc Wolfram (IOER). Details on the program and registration will follow in the coming weeks.
